MIX welcomes Athel AI as its newest affiliate in Canada's industry-led hub for medical technology innovation.

Athel AI - Co Clinician

We have some big news to share. Athel AI is officially joining the Medical Innovation Xchange (MIX) as their newest affiliate company.

As we continue to scale our conversational medical intake platform across Canada, planting roots within Canada's industry-led medtech hub is a significant milestone for our team.

Why we are building Athel AI

Administrative burden is one of the heaviest weights on healthcare providers today. We built Athel AI to change that.

Our platform uses multi-agent artificial intelligence to conduct dynamic, specialty-specific clinical interviews with patients before they step into the exam room. By automating front-end documentation and streamlining the flow of information between patients and clinicians, we help physicians reclaim time, increase capacity, and focus on delivering care.

Why we joined MIX

Scaling an infrastructure-level healthcare software company in Canada requires more than good technology. It requires a working understanding of clinical workflows, system integration, regulatory landscape, and commercialization.

We chose MIX because they have built an ecosystem that understands these challenges specifically. The problems facing a medtech company in Ontario are not the problems facing a generic SaaS company, and the networks that solve them are not interchangeable.

"Joining MIX allows us to plug into a network of industry leaders, mentors, and fellow founders who have successfully navigated the Canadian healthcare landscape. We are incredibly excited to learn from their firsthand experiences, collaborate on scaling health technologies, and contribute our own expertise in AI-driven healthcare solutions to the community." — The Athel AI Team

We are thrilled to work alongside MIX and its community to accelerate innovation in Canadian healthcare.
