Athel AI x SickKids VS: Innovation for Every Child

Athel AI is proud to join SickKids VS with a holiday campaign we're calling Innovation for Every Child. From November 1 to December 18, we're raising money for SickKids Foundation and bringing gifts to children who will spend the holidays in hospital. Our goal is to raise $20,000 in donations for SickKids VS.

Why SickKids

We build AI for clinicians, and everything we do starts with the people who deliver care. Few places show what great care looks like better than SickKids. Its teams take on some of the hardest problems in child health every day, and SickKids VS has rallied people behind that work since 2016. Supporting it felt like the most natural way for us to give back this season.

How the campaign works

We've made a limited run of Athel AI x SickKids keepsakes: only 300 tees and 300 collector bears. Tees and bears ship anywhere in Canada within 3 days.

• Collector Edition T-Shirt ($50): $30 goes to SickKids Foundation

• Collector Bear ($70): $30 goes to SickKids Foundation

• Gift a bear ($70): $30 goes to SickKids Foundation, and a bear is given to a child at SickKids

• Sponsor a toy box ($150): $100 goes to SickKids Foundation, and a box of toys is delivered to SickKids

That means more than 40% of every purchase goes directly to SickKids Foundation. The rest covers what each item costs to make and deliver. Athel AI keeps none of it.

Gifts for the holidays

Every bear gifted and every box sponsored adds to our toy count. Our team will deliver everything to SickKids in person on December 21, just in time for the holidays. To be part of that delivery, order by December 18.

Why this matters to us

Technology in healthcare only matters if it makes life better for patients and the people caring for them. This campaign is a small way for our team to show up for the kids and families at SickKids, and for the clinicians who are there for them every day. Thank you for helping us get there.
